Trattoria da Mario
A special little trattoria where you sit on stools next to other diners, but the food is outstanding and the owner is wonderfully welcoming. Reservations disappear fast, so call early.
Trattoria l'Oriuolo
One of the few non-touristy trattorias near the Duomo where you can eat a truly excellent Florentine steak. A rare exception in the busiest part of the city.
